anshul - I had mixed feeling about the shot, and the place, Portsmouth Square near SF's chinatown. I could vaguely sense the feeling of loneliness and alienation among the elderly chinese.
namit - Get the kit lens I guess since it's cheap and gives you good range coverage. When you're through with it, get some fast lenses. 50mm f/1.8 would be something good to start with :-) Oh yea, remember, you can use the lens from your film EOS too.
